Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Revealed

The production-spec upcoming Bajaj NS400 has been fully revealed in the latest spy shots.

The biggest Pulsar yet, the NS400 is set for a debut on May 3 and the latest spy shots have revealed the sports bike in full flesh. Let’s have a look at he details of the soon-to-be-launched Pulsar NS400.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Revealed: Design

The clear spy shots have highlighted the design of the Pulsar NS400 and it appears like a revolution of the NS200’s design which has started to look a bit dated now. While there are several resemblances, the NS400 has an imposing stance and looks modern. The beefy tank sports extended shrouds and the tank itself seems to be borrowed from the NS400. The split seat setup, side panels as well as rear section have also been lifted from the NS400, albeit with the new graphics.

The NS400 will sport a new front fascia with a far more aggressive design language as compared to the current NS200. While the customers are expecting a new design language for the NS400, it is hard to ignore its similarity with the NS200.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Revealed: Engine & Hardware

The NS400 is based on a familiar perimeter frame with a rather simple box section swingarm, hinting at an aggressive price point for the two-wheeler. It gets golden USD forks up front and an adjustable mono-shock at the rear. The powertrain department will likely be handled by the familiar 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled unit from the Dominar 400 tuned to produce 40 bhp and 35 Nm of peak torque.

The gear ratios and the overall tuning will be altered to suit the sporty character of the NS400 as the Domainar was a cruiser. It will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The highlight is the underbelly exhaust of the NS400 and it hints at a better weight distribution for the sports motorcycle.
