The Toyota Taisor is Rs. 23,000 more expensive than the Fronx in terms of starting price. Comparing the top-spec trims, the Fronx and Taisor are priced similarly at Rs. 13.03 lakh (ex-showroom). Fronx offers the turbo petrol engine with the mid-spec Delta+ variant which is not the case with Taisor.
The turbo petrol range of Fronx starts from Rs. 9.73 lakh (ex-showroom) while the Taisor turbo comes at 10.55 lakh. So, for buyers on a budget who want to get the turbo petrol option, the Fronx remains a better option.
Variant to variant with the 1.2-litre petrol engine, the Taisor is commanding a premium of around Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000. In terms of CNG fuel option, Fronx is offering two variants as opposed to Taisor which offers only one trim.
If you are not behind the brand value associated with the Toyota badge, go for the Fronx. However, we feel the Taisor is looking a bit more mature in terms of design but it’s a personal choice. Toyota will be offering a better warranty as well as the service quality could be slightly better. On the other hand, Fronx has better variant distribution and is more affordable than Taisor.
