Top 7 Electric Cars with the Longest Range Under Rs. 30 lakh: Analysis

  • The Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e top the chart while sharing the same battery pack and powertrain setup. These electric SUVs also have the largest battery pack of 79 kWh under Rs. 30 lakh price bracket. The smaller battery pack of 59 kWh also delivers a claimed range of over 500 kilometres.
  • Tata Curvv EV gets 55 kWh and 45 kWh battery packs. The claimed range of both variants is over 500 kilometres.
  • BYD Atto 3 and eMax 7 also deliver a claimed range of over 500 kilometres. The eMax 7 has a relatively larger battery pack of 71.8 kWh as compared to the Atto 3’s 60.48 kWh.
  • The soon-to-be-launched e Vitara is based on a born-electric platform with a 61 kWh battery pack. The claimed range will be upwards of 500 kilometres.
  • Standing at the last spot is the newly launched Hyundai Creta Electric with a maximum claimed range of 473 kilometres, using a 51.4 kWh battery pack. With the smallest battery pack in the segment, the electric SUV also deliver the least range.
