Tata Harrier EV Battery Pack Details & Estimated Range

It was earlier speculated that the electric Harrier would get a 60 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of around 450 kilometres. It seemed quite a mediocre choice for such a big SUV. On the contrary, the latest media reports suggest that electric SUV will get a 75 kWh battery pack. We expect the company to offer a smaller battery option as well to keep the starting price competitive and it could be the speculated 60 kWh unit.

With a 75 kWh battery pack, the estimated range is expected to be upwards of 500 kilometres and we can expect the real-world practical figures in the range of 400-450 kilometres. However, it is important to note that these are just assumptions and nothing can be confirmed as of now.

Tata Harrier EV Battery Pack: Will it get AWD?

Tata Motors earlier hinted that the Harrier EV will get AWD tech and the latest reports confirm the same. We also expect the electric SUV to come with a 2WD configuration. This will give the customers a wider range of choices. The AWD will be limited to the top-spec variants and will likely compromise on the range for that added power and capability.
