The all-new Tata Curvv will be offered in both petrol and diesel powertrain options; Price announcement on August 7.
After a long wait, the Tata Curvv is finally here and has become India’s first mass-market coupe car. The official launch is scheduled for next month i.e. 7th August and the deliveries are expected to start September. The Tata Curvv will go up against the likes of the upcoming Citroen Basalt Vision concept aka Citroen’s C3 Aircross-based Coupe SUV.

Tata Curvv Coupe SUV: Powetrain
The Tata Curvv will be sold in both petrol and diesel powertrain options. For the oil burner, the familiar 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine will be retained from the Nexon and it will produce 115 bhp and 260 Nm of peak torque. The Curvv gets Tata Motor’s newly developed 1.2-litre tGDi 3-cylinder petrol engine putting out 125 bhp and 225 Nm of peak torque.
Tata Curvv Coupe SUV: Dimensions
The new Curvv is targeted at the mid-size SUV segment, rivalling cars like Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara amongst others. In line with this, the Tata Curvv will measure around 4,300 mm long while the wheelbase will be around 2600mm.

Tata Curvv Coupe SUV: Flush Door Handles and 18-inch Alloy Wheels
The Tata Curvv is the first cat in the brand’s line-up to get flush-type door handles. These door handles are retained from the concept version. The flush door handles can be seen sporting a very small LED light which indicates that it will be an electronically controlled unit. The Curvv will sport 18-inch alloy wheels for the ICE as well as EV versions. For the petrol and diesel-powered Curvv, we will get conventional dual-tone alloy wheels while the Curvv EV will get a set of aero-efficient wheels.
Tata Curvv Coupe SUV: Launch Timeline and Expected Price
The 2024 Tata Curvv will go on sale next month accompanied by the price announcement. However, only the Curvv EV will be launched on the scheduled date of August 7. The petrol and diesel-powered Curvv’ will likely be launched around a month later, most probably around the festive season.
