Tata Motors will kick start the year with the launch of Harrier EV which is scheduled for a debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. We saw the concept version last year and it will look identical to the ICE version, albeit with a few EV-specific touches. It will based on a modified version of the Omega-ARC platform which will now support an electric powertrain with a flat floorboard. This also means that it won’t be grounds up born EV. Priced are expected to start from upwards of Rs. 20 lakh. It will likely get a 60kWh battery pack with a claimed range of around 450 kilometres. We can also see an AWD version at the time of launch.
Tata Sierra was recently spotted undisguised and the spy shots did rounds on the internet, revealing the production-ready design. Expected to measure around 4.3 metres long, the Sierra EV will debut around March 2025 followed by its ICE version. The Sierra EV will be based on the brand’s latest Acti.EV platform, derived from the Gen 2 electric architecture. The Sierra could share the powertrain with the Curvv EV and an AWD version is highly likely.

Tata Motors earlier confirmed that the Sierra will also get the ICE option. Going ahead, reports claim that the Sierra EV will debut this year, most probably around the same timeline as the electric model. The new 1.5-litre tGDi turbo petrol engine and the familiar 2.0-litre turbo diesel unit will power the Sierra. It will likely be positioned below the Harrier in the line-up, so expect the prices to start from Rs. 12-13 lakh (ex-showroom).
