The entry-level trims variants of the Kushaq and Slavia get the biggest price cut and now start as low as Rs. 10.89 lakh and Rs. 10.69 lakh (ex-showroom). A similar sort of discount offer was introduced last year in December for a limited time. The revised prices are targeted to attract a wider range of customers along with increasing the footfall in the dealerships. This price reduction could help Skoda to pull some sales from the sub-4-meter segment.
The sea of models in the compact SUV space like Mahindra XUV3XO, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet and Maruti Suzuki Breeza amongst others offer their mid-spec trims at around Rs. 10.5 lakh to Rs. 11 lakh (ex-showroom) price point and this is where are revised prices of the Slavia and Kushaq now starts. So, customers get the advantage of a bigger footprint, translating into better space and enhanced road presence. In addition to this, a 5-star safety rating with 6 airbags as standard along with the brand value associated with owning a Skoda car are added benefits.
