New-Gen Renault Duster India Launch

The new-gen Duster was earlier expected to launch by the end of 2025; Renault Kiger and Triber Facelift are also on the cards for this year.

Renault in India currently has 3 models in the line-up i.e. Kwid, Triber and Kiger. The much-awaited Renault Duster is in the pipeline along with the mid-life facelift update of the Triber and Kiger. While the new Duster has already debuted internationally, it was speculated that the Indian launch is scheduled for the end of 2025. However, in the latest development, we have learned that the launch of the new Duster has been pushed ahead.

New-Gen Renault Duster India Launch Timeline

According to the company, an “all-new SUV” will go on sale in 2026. This is none other than the new Duster which is currently in the works and was recently spied testing for the first time in India. The first-gen Duster was discontinued in 2022 and the second-gen model never arrived in India. The third-gen Duster will likely debut by the end of this year while the launch and price announcement will be done early next year i.e. 2026.

New-Gen Renault Duster India Launch: More Models Based on the Duster

The Duster will also get a 7-seater version which was revealed last year globally and it will go by the name Bigster. Both the SUVs will also spawn Nissan derivatives. This means that the Duster platform will be utilized for a total of 4 models. These SUVs will be manufactured at the Renault-Nissan manufacturing facility situated in Chennai and will be exported to multiple international markets.

The production of the new Duster will reportedly start in September 2025.
