Mahindra XUV3XO Fuel Efficiency, Acceleration & Interiors Revealed

In the latest teaser, Mahindra has highlighted the fuel economy, acceleration timings as well as the dashboard layout of the upcoming Mahindra XUV3XO.

Mahindra & Mahindra is bidding high on the marketing of its upcoming model, the XUV3XO. Essentially, the facelift of the XUV300, the updated model is set for a debut on April 29. Before the official launch, the Indian SUV maker is revealing new details about the SUV every alternative day to keep the excitement on peak. In the latest teaser, a host of new information has been given away.

Mahindra XUV3XO: Fuel Efficinecy compared with the rivals

Going by the teaser, Mahindra has highlighted the fuel efficiency of 20.1 kmph and we believe there figures are for the diesel manual version. These are the highest figures we can expect from the XUV3XO. As for the rivals the concerned, Hyundai Venue diesel MT comes with a claimed fuel efficiency of 23.4 kmpl while the Kia Sonet diesel MT figures stand at 24.1 kmpl. On the other hand, the Tata Nexon diesel manual’s fuel efficiency claims are 23.23 kmpl. In addition to these, there could be drive modes on offer namely, zip, zap and zoom.

Mahindra XUV3XO: Acceleration Timings

The Mahindra XUV3XO will come with three engine options and amongst these the 1.2 litre tGDi engine is the fastest of the lot. As per the teaser, the XUV3XO will come with a claimed 0-60 kmph timing of just 4.5 seconds. We believe these are the figures for the 130 bhp turbo petrol engine. This engine will also get a new 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. With these figures, the XUV3XO will also hold the crown for the fastest sub-4-meter SUV.

Mahindra XUV3XO: The Updated Dashboard Layout

The new dashboard layout on the new XUV3XO looks quite premium and appealing than before. We can also spot a leather stitching sort of treatment on the upper part of the dashboard. The updated centre console with a 10.25 inch infotainment system, new gear lever and updated controls for HVAC are a part of the package. The new fully digital driver’s display has also been revealed in the latest teaser and it is the same unit from its elder siblings, the XUV400 EV and XUV700.
