Black is certainly the most popular colour of the Mahindra Thar and the upcoming Thar Roxx has been teased in Black colour multiple times. In the latest development, Mahindra & Mahindra have revealed the Thar Roxx in White Colour. The launch of the lifestyle SUV is scheduled for August 15 and the prices will most likely be out by the end of this month along with the commencement of bookings. Mahindra Thar Roxx White Colour Revealed: The Best Option?

White is one of the easiest colours to maintain and hence, it is opted by the majority of buyers. However, for the current Thar, Black has been the go-to colour for the buyers. The White colour debuted in the Thar range with the launch of RWD variants. In the case of Thar Roxx, Mahindra has revealed the SUV in White and Black colours which means that these two options are confirmed at the time of launch.

Mahindra Thar Roxx White Colour Revealed: Some Interesting Observations

The Thar Roxx will feature an upgraded side footstep which appears much more premium than the current model.
The SUV will come shod with 255 section MRF Wanderer AT tyres, however, the wheel size is not confirmed. We believe that it will get 19-inch alloys in the top-spec trims.
The Thar Roxx is expected to get a hard roof only. This means no soft roof setup, however, we can’t confirm this as of now.
The roof will remain black with all the colour options and the typical fibre material seems to be used, much like the current 3-door model.
The 2nd row door is not merging flawlessly in the roof and it seems to be a bit odd in White colour.

Mahindra Thar Roxx White Colour Revealed: Exterior Design Highlights

The new grille is giving the Thar Roxx a much more distinctive appeal and it does look fresh. The LED headlamps with C-shaped DRLs, updated dual-tone bumper, light placement on fenders, antenna mounted on the same position as the current Thar and the long wheelbase are some of the major design highlights. The new alloy wheels are looking much better with the White colour.

Mahindra Thar Roxx White Colour Revealed: Powertrain

The 2.2-litre mHawk diesel all-titanium engine will be available in two states of tune. The entry-level variants will get 150 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque while the range-topping trims will draw 172 bhp and 370 Nm. Meanwhile, the 2.0 litre Stallion turbo petrol unit will get 160 bhp and 330 Nm of peak torque in lower trims. For the higher-spec variants, the power output is bumped to 175 bhp and 380 Nm. Both the engines will come mated with two gearbox options i.e. a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
