Kia Now Offering Sonet, Seltos & Carens On Lease: Price Details

Kia has signed an MoU with ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services to introduce a new leasing service for its mass-market models i.e. Sonet, Seltos and Carens.

While car leasing services are not as popular in India, Kia has finally taken the plunge and you can now own the Sonet, Seltos and Carens on lease program. The Korean carmaker has signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with ORIX Auto Infrastructure Service Limited to launch a new car leasing service for Indian customers. The mass-market models such as Seltos, Sonet and Carens are covered under this lease program and there are multiple packs available depending upon the time period and mileage.

Kia Sonet Seltos Carens on Lease: Pricing and Other Important Details

Let’s have a look at the minimum monthly lease charges:-

Kia Sonet- Rs. 21,900

Kia Seltos- Rs. 28,900

Kia Carens- Rs. 28,800

It is important to note that insurance and maintenance are included in the lease cost. The leasing period of the Kia cars extends from 24 to 60 months, and multiple mileage plans are available for the customers. The charges mentioned above are the minimum costs and your final amount will vary depending on a number of factors such as variant, fuel option, lease time period and more. For the first phase, the leasing services for Kia cars have been launched in major metro cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru and Pune.

At the end of the lease period, customers can either return the vehicle or renew the existing car. In addition to this, the option of upgrading to a newer car will also be available.

In addition to Kia, other car manufacturers like Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Skoda and Volkswagen are also offering lease programs in the Indian market. However, we haven’t noted any major growth in the car leasing sector and it continues to remain a niche market.
