Hyundai To Launch Creta N-Line On March 11: Expected Price

Hyundai is set to launch the Creta N-Line in India on 11th March; The sporty Creta will be based on the recently launched facelift model.

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is on a streak with the launch of the Creta Facelift which received a very warm response from the customers. While the Creta is known for its comfort, it lacked the sporty character which is a must for the 1.5 litre tGDi petrol engine, good enough for 160 bhp. In the latest development, the launch timeline of the Creta N-Line has been confirmed for 11th March. Bookings to start by the end of this month, the Creta N-Line will go against the likes of Kia Seltos X-Line.

To be the third N-Line model in the Indian market, the Creta will surely get the much required sporty updates. As suggested by the leaked design patents, it will get a new front fasia, new sporty set of allow wheels, red accents all around and few changes inside the cabin. A stiffer suspension setup and tighter steering geometry will be a part of the mechanical updates. Under the hood, we expect the Creta N-Line to use the 1.5 litre tGDi petrol engine paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox alongside the 7-speed DCT unit.

Hyundai Creta N-Line Expected Price

The Creta N-Line will be based on the top-spec trims, so we expect the price to start around 19.5 lakh (ex-showroom) for the N8 manual while the DCT will command another 15 lakh premium. The top-spec N10 will start from around 20.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Usually the N-Line versions command a premium of around Rs. 50,000 over the regular trims and the same is expected to continue with Creta N-Line. The Verna N-Line is also on cards for the Indian market.
