The Hyundai Creta Electric will be launched on January 17; Delivers with a claimed range of 473 kilometres.
Hyundai Motor India Limited today revealed the Creta Electric in the Indian market and is scheduled for a launch on January 17. Hyundai Creta ELectric Revealed: Design Changes
The front design of the Creta Electric has undergone some changes including the blanked-off grille which sits between the headlamps, finished in piano black. The headlights and DRLs are carried over from the ICE version and the charging port is positioned right in the centre and has been masked by the logo.
The lower part of the front bumper gets a different design along with an air dam which gets active air flaps. The side profile seems identical, however, we can spot the 17-inch aero-efficient wheels. The Creta Electric seems familiar from the rear, minus the Electric badging. The EV also gets a new paint scheme which is seen in the video.

A new steering wheel seen on the international spec Hyundai SUVs is seen on the Creta Electric. The dual-screen layout continues to remain as it is, however, the UI seems a bit different, purposely designed for the EV. In addition to this, it will also get different drive and regen modes, controlled by the rotary dial on the centre console. The gear lever has been given as a stalk which we also saw in the IONIQ 5.

The features like Level 2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats and more will continue to be part of the package.

Hyundai Creta Electric Revealed: Powertrain
As per the information available, the Creta EV comes with a 51.4 kWh battery pack. It will also likely get a smaller battery pack option at the time of launch. The claimed range stands at 473 kilometres on a single charge and it also gets the V2L function. For the performance enthusiasts, the Creta EV can do the 0-100 kmph sprint in just 7.9 seconds.
