Honda Elevate & City Price Hike January 2025

The manual transmission variants of the Honda Elevate are safe from this price hike.

Honda Cars India hiked the prices of the City and Elevate in January 2025. According to reports, rising input costs are one of the key reasons for this price hike. The City gets a price increment across the range, while only the CVT automatic trims of the Elevate are affected.

Honda Elevate & City Price Hike January 2025: Was it Necessary?

At a time when Honda is struggling with low sales, the price hike could come across as a rather hard choice. The City is selling under 1000 units and with the price increment, the value-for-money tag seems to be slipping away. On the other hand, we have the example of Hyundai introducing automatic transmission option with the lower-spec S variant of the Verna to make it more affordable. Nonetheless, this price hike could put away a section of buyers who are on the fence of buying a Honda model.
