The Honda Elevate Black Edition is expected to launch soon; Honda doesn’t offer black colour with the regular Elevate.
Honda Cars India has been struggling to sell the Elevate in good numbers for the past few months. While offering massive discounts has helped the cause, there’s more potential for the Elevate SUV that can be exploited. One way to do this is by launching a special edition model. The Japanese carmaker seems to be exploring this path as an all-black version of the Elevate was recently spied testing. Honda Elevate Black Edition- All Details.

Honda Elevate Black Edition: The Exterior Changes
Honda Elevate is currently available in multiple colour options but misses out on a black paint shade which is quite popular amongst young buyers. The spy shots have now revealed that a new Black Edition of the Elevate will soon hit the market. Going by the leaked images, the SUV sports a new black shade. In addition to this, there is no use of chrome, unlike the regular model.
Towards the sides, the dual-tone alloys have been replaced by all-black units and even the roof rails are finished in black. At the rear, the bumper is finished in black along with a special edition badging on the tailgate.
While the front profile is not visible in spy shots, we expect Honda to replace the pronounced chrome element to be replaced by a black finished one.
Honda Elevate Black Edition: How it will help? Expected Launch Timeline & Price
The black edition of the Honda Elevate is expected to launch in the coming weeks. This special edition model will help Honda to increase the overall sales of the SUV as the all-black theme is very popular nowadays and we have seen a similar case with other brands including Tata Motors and Hyundai.
We expect the Black Edition to command a premium of around Rs. 20,000-Rs.30,000 over the regular model. It will most likely be offered in the top-spec VX and ZX trims, for both manual and CVT gearbox options.

The Elevate will continue to be powered by the familiar 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine putting out 121 bhp and 145 Nm of peak torque. Inside the cabin, the Black Edition will likely follow the all-black theme replacing the current dual-tone treatment.
