The Toyota Innova is powered by a 2.4-litre turbo-diesel engine putting out 150 bhp and 343 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox across the range. There’s no petrol engine or automatic transmission option on offer with the Innova Crysta as of now.
The range of the Toyota Innova Crysta starts from Rs. 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom) going all the way up to Rs. 26.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The MPV is positioned alongside the modern petrol-powered front wheel drive Innova Hycross which also gets a strong-hybrid option and is based on a monocoque chassis. For reference, the Innova Crysta is a rear-wheel-drive MPV based on a rugged ladder-frame chassis.
Despite being a not so feature-loaded product, the Innova Crysta still enjoys a strong command in the Indian market.
