Nissan Magnite has been in the market for a good 4 years; Single-handedly pulling the Nissan’s bandwagon in India, the company SUV has been a decent seller.
Nissan Magnite Facelift is around the corner as the test mule of the compact SUV has been spotted for the first time. Expected to go on sale around the festive season 2024, the testing phase has now commenced. The Magnite is the lone wolf in the Nissan’s line-up and an update becomes an absolute must in this case. The mid-life facelift is expected to carry cosmetic changes inside out along with new feature additions.
Nissan Magnite Facelift: What We Know?
The facelift will remain mechanically the same as before and will continue to use the familiar powertrain options. Cosmetic changes will include a new set of alloy wheels, redesigned bumpers, all-new headlamps and tail lamps, minor changes to the dashboard layout and more. New features such as sunroof, ventilated seats and automatic IRVM could be a part of the package.
Nissan Magnite Facelift: Is it Necessary?
While the Nissan Magnite is indeed a good-looking SUV (personal opinion), seeing the rivals getting new models, becomes an absolute must to stay in competition. In addition to this, new features will keep it relevant in the market. New styling equals a refreshed appeal and can help Nissan increase sales, however, it won’t make a big difference.

Problems With Nissan Magnite
- Lacking customer trust due to the limited product portfolio of Nissan
- Poor track record, in terms of after-sales service and discontinuing models after some time.
- Although the price is attractive, it lacks USP (everything is mediocre).
- Customers are ready to spend a bit extra and go for better brand value like Maruti, Hyundai, Kia etc.
Improving the product line-up and introducing new models can help Nissan establish the much-required trust among customers.
