The Mahindra Vision S will be the next big addition to the Scorpio nameplate, packed in a compact form factor.

The Mahindra Vision S will be the first SUV to debut in the Indian market of the four Vision concepts showcased last year. The SUV is expected to debut by the end of 2026 or early 2027, followed by a market launch. The Vision S will join the Scorpio nameplate, essentially targeting the compact SUV segment. The Vision S will get a side-opening boot lid, just like the Scorpio Classic and Scorpio N. The LED taillights will follow an inverted L-shaped design, which can be concluded from the hollow housing in the spy shots. The rear camera is mounted on the spare wheel, something we have already seen in the Thar Roxx. Apart from this, the flush-type door handles, square-off wheel arches and hefty side body cladding will be a part of the package. The presence of exhasut pipe further confirms that the Vision S will be an ICE offering.

The spy shots highlight that the Vision S will get an independent rear suspension, most likely a multi-link unit. This means that we can expect a superior ride quality, and it will stand out in the sub-4-meter compact SUV segment. It also hints at the possibility of an AWD (all-wheel-drive) system, as the NU_IQ platform is capable of accommodating it.
