2025 Tata Tiago EV Facelift Details Revealed: Changes

The 2025 Tata Tiago EV Facelift gets a slew of updates inside out; Launch Soon.

Tata Motors launched the Tiago EV in September 2022 as the brand’s most affordable electric car. The electric hatchback is due for an update this year and its details have been revealed. The 2025 Tata Tiago EV facelift will be launched soon and is expected to be showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. Let’s run you through the changes in the Tiago EV Facelift.

2025 Tata Tiago EV Facelift Revealed: Exterior Design

The changes to the exterior design are quite subtle, like an updated front grille, LED headlamps, new design of the 14-inch wheels, shark fin antenna, and updated humanity line. In addition to this, Tata Motors is also offering new colours with the facelift, i.e., Chill Lime, Supernova Copper, and Arizona Blue. The current colours, including Signature Teal, Daytona Grey, and Pristine White are continued with the new model.

2025 Tata Tiago EV Facelift Revealed: Interiors and Features

The biggest changes to the Tiago EV are concentrated inside the cabin. The facelift model features the new Smart Digital Steering Wheels seen on the Punch EV along with a new 10.25-inch infotainment system and an updated 4-inch fully digital instrument cluster. In terms of features ESP, HD rearview camera as well as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will be a part of the package. The colour theme of the cabin has also been updated with dual-tone upholstery.

Safety features on board the Tiago EV include Traction Control, Corner Stability Control, After Impact Braking and Hill-Hold Control.

2025 Tata Tiago EV Facelift Revealed: Variants

With the facelift update, the XZ+ variant has been discontinued. In addition to this, the fast-charging variants have also been dropped and customers will have to buy the 7.2 kW fast charger as an accessory.

The current variant line-up includes the base-spec XE variant with Medium Range package, the mid-spec XT variant which is available in both Medium and Long Range configurations and the top-of-the-line XZ+ Tech Lux which comes with the Long Range battery. This variant gets all the bells and whistles.

2025 Tata Tiago EV Facelift Revealed: Powertrain

There are no changes in the powertrain department. The 2025 Tiago EV facelift continues with the familiar 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh battery pack options. Power output figures for the medium-range variants stand at 60 bhp and 110 Nm peak torque while the long-range variants get 74 bhp and 114 Nm state of tune.

We expect some of these changes to trickle down to the ICE version of the Tiago and a similar set of updates can be expected for the Tigor as well as Tigor EV.
