2025 Honda Civic Hybrid: What’s Under The Hood?
The Civic Hybrid sedan is capable of churning out 200 BHP and 232 pound-feet of peak torque from its 2.0-litre four-pot gasoline-fed engine paired with powerful and efficient Honda two-motor hybrid-electric system. The top-of-the-line Sport Touring Hybrid is better equipped, however, you will have to shell out some extra bucks for it. The non-hybrid Civic uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine which runs now on the Atkinson Cycle and is slightly less powerful as compared to the outgoing model. The 2025 Civic non-hybrid makes 150 bhp and 133 pound-feet torque, however, is more fuel-efficient and also, offers a wide torque curve.

To further amplify Civic’s legendary fun-to-drive spirit and class-leading ride comfort, the ride and handling dynamics of the Civic hybrid have been optimized with unique spring and damper tuning and a specially-developed tyre. Hybrid trims also enjoy the lowest NVH levels in the Civic lineup, with a robust noise reduction package that includes Active Noise Control (all hybrids) and wheel resonators (Sport Touring).
