Force Motors will launch the updated Gurkha 3-Door and the new Gurkha 5-Door with new features like a larger infotainment system, a new digital cluster and more.
The Force Gurkha 5-Door is expected to debut around mid-2024 and the launch of an updated 3-door Gurkha will accompany it. Keeping up with the aggressive marketing campaign, Force Motors has given away a few important details about the interiors of the upcoming 2024 Force Gurkha via a teaser.
The Force Gurkha will square off with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Jimny and the upcoming Mahindra Thar 5-Door Armada in the Indian market. While the Jimny is already quite feature-loaded, the same is expected from the Thar 5-door as it has been spied with features like sunroof, front and rear armrests, a large infotainment system and more. So, why should Force Gurkha stay behind and the latest teaser highlights some important features that will put it in the same ballpark as its rivals.
2024 Force Gurkha New Interiors: What the Teaser Highlights?
To begin with, the 2024 Force Gurkha will get multiple new features, however, the overall layout will remain more or less the same as before. We also expect minor changes in the cabin theme with the use of dual-tone elements for a better appeal.
- The biggest highlight of the teaser is the new fully digital instrument cluster where a large centre screen which seems to be a 7-inch unit is accompanied by a fixed-type fuel-level indicator and temperature meter at both ends. The tell-tale lights are also placed in the same section.
- The dynamic centre screen appears quite modern and in the teaser, we can see the animation of the Gurkha followed by the tachometer right at the centre along with the speedo meter. The fuel-level indicator and TPMS display are also housed in this digital cluster.
- In addition to this, we can also spot a larger infotainment system which seems to be around 9-inch in size and it gets physical buttons on the sides. This unit doesn’t seem to be an in-house development and feels more like it is sourced from some aftermarket infotainment system manufacturer. However, nothing can be confirmed as of now.
- A dedicated centre console can also be seen in the teaser and it appears a bit more premium than before, thanks to the chrome ring around the gear-lever and smart-looking knob-type controller for off-road hardware.
- In terms of features, TPMS is confirmed and we could also get 6-airbags in the top-spec model.
- The teaser also gives a small glimpse of the seats which now seem to be wrapped in leather upholstery for a premium appeal.
